HTC has revealed a new smartphone under Desire range series called as Desire 828 in China with a price tag of CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs. 16,500) which is listed on company’s online store. Unfortunately the company has not revealed anything about the availability of the smartphone outside China.
The Desire 828 features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display which is configured by octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It is housed with 16GB of internal storage which can be expandable upto 2TB using microSD card.
On its camera department, it comes with 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with Optical Image Stabilization and on its front it has UltraPixel camera for selfie lovers. It has connectivity options include Wi-Fi, FM radio, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G, Micro-USB and 4G LTE TDD. It has HTC’s Sense 6 UI running atop with Android 5.1 Lollipop under the hood.
This dual SIM handset draw its juice from 2800mAh battery and measures a 157.7×78.8×7.9mm and weighs 15g. Besides these the smartphone is featured with HTC BoomSound technology, which is complemented by Dolby Audio, ambient light, accelerometer, compass, and magnetic sensors as well.
In terms of its hardware the phone is very similar to its Desire 826 which was launched earlier this year, but with slight changes in its design.
HTC Desire 828 comes in white, black, blue, gold, grey, Orange and Red color options.
