HTC has added another smartphone to its flagship labelled as One M9e in China priced at CNY 2,700 (approximately Rs. 27,650). The phone is listed in the chinese e commerce website Tmall incorrectly referring it as One M9 instead of One M9e, which is different from the earlier one.
The specifications of One M9e will place the mobile in the mid level section in the chinese market and local manufacturers given the rigid competition for this handset in terms of the price as it is slightly high. In terms of its design M9e resembles its predecessor HTC One M9 with aluminum build and a stereo Boomsound speakers on the front end.
As far as specifications are concerned it sports a 5-inch full-HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795T Helio X10 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and comes with an inbuilt storage of 16GB which is further expandable via a microSD card.
On its photography department there is a 13MP rear camera with OIS and a limited 1080p video recording and on the front side and “Ultrapixel”on the rear end. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with company’s Sense UI on top.
It supports connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, Infrared, DLNA, FM radio, and NFC. It draws its juice from 2840 mAh non-removable battery which keeps the mobile active. The phone has got the dimensions of 144.6×69.7×9.61mm and weighs 157 grams.
At this moment it is unclear whether the company will sell One M9e outside the Asian Markets.
