HTC has introduced a high end smartphone on Tuesday dubbed as Butterfly 3 exclusively for Japan customers which will go on sale around the globe.
Coming to its features, HTC Butterfly 3 with polycarbonate body sports a 5.2-inch quad-HD display, powered by an Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. In terms of storage 32GB of internal memory which is further expandable upto 2TB via a microSD card. The body of the mobile comes with IP57 rating for dust and water protection is a bonus. The device runs on Android Lollipop with HTC’s Sense 7 runs on top. It is backed by 2,700mAh battery which supports a quick charge 2.0 tech.
HTC Butterfly 3 is equipped with rocking a 20.2MP Duo Camera setup with a dual-LED flash, a sapphire cover lens, a BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture, and 4K video recording and a 13-megapixel selfie camera which can shoot videos upto 1080p. The handset has connectivity options include LTE support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, MHL 3.0, NFC, and GPS with GLONASS.
HTC Butterfly 3 comes with dual front-facing stereo speakers with Dolby Audio. The cost of the mobile will be NT$ 19,900, approximately Rs 39,750. The mobile will be available in white, red and midnight blue variants which will be go on sale from October 20th in Taiwan. The company has not disclosed about its international availability.
