Huawei has launched a metal-clad smartphone in China known as Honor Glory Play 5X which has a killer look and a fingerprint scanner at the back end. The smartphone comes in two variants 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM with a price tag of CNY 999 (approx. Rs. 10,200) and CNY 1,399 (approx. Rs. 14,300) respectively.
Honor Glory Play 5X comes with mid range specifications, it sports a 5.5-inch full-HD with 1080 x1920 pixel resolution, powered by 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. On its storage side it has a 16GB internal storage which can be expandable upto 128GB.
The handset is equipped with 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 28mm wide-angle lens, 5P lens, and Blue Glass IR filter and a 5MP front facing camera.
The device is powered by a 3000mAh battery, which the company claims that it be active upto 1.46 days of regular usage and 1.01 days on heavy usage. It is having a fast charging facility which can charge upto 50% in just half an hour. The company’s latest Fingerprint 2.0′ tech fingerprint technology which is used in the mobile can unlock the phone simply by tapping the area.
The dual SIM smartphone supports Bluetooth 4.1, USB 2.0, GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G LTE (FDD and TDD) connectivity options and measures 151.3×76.3×8.15mm, weighs 158 grams.
The pre orders for Honor 5X will start today and the device will be available for sale from November 3rd in China. The device comes in Silver and Gold colour options.
