Lenovo calmly announced a higher specified version of A7000 smartphone named as A7000 Plus in Philippines today labelled at a price of Rs 10,773/ $171. However the availability of the smartphone in other markets are not revealed by the company.
Earlier the company has announced Lenovo A7000 which went on sale in April this year at a price of Rs. 8,999.
Lenovo A 7000 Plus comes with upgraded internal mechanism compare to its predecessor. It sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek (MT6752) SoC clocked at 1.7GHz clubbed with 2GB of RAM. It has an inbuilt storage of 16GB which can be further expandable via a microSD card. The handset is loaded with 152.6×76.2×7.99mm and weighs 140 grams.
On its photography section, it flaunts a 13-megapixel primary camera and 5MP for selfies and the device is backed by 3000mAh battery. It is equipped with speakers powered by Dolby Atmos technology.
Connectivity options are same as its predecessor which include 4G LTE (FDD Band 1, 3, 7, 20; TDD Band 40), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It measures a 152.6×76.2×7.99mm and weighs 140 grams.
Lenovo company has announced that it has sold more than 50,000 pieces of K3 Note handsets in India with in two month after launch.
A7000 Plus will be available from Tuesday at a local e-commerce site Lazada.
