Meizu has just launched a new smartphone Meizu Pro 5 in China at an event on Wednesday which will go on sale in China from October 12.
Meizu Pro 5 is available in two variants-3GB of LPDDR4 RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM with 64GB of storage for 2,799 approximately Rs. 29,000 and CNY 3,099 approximately Rs. 32,100 respectively and it will be available in Grey, Silver, Silver Black, and Golden colours.
The mobile sports a physical button below the screen encircled by a metal ring acts as a Home and back buttons and also used as a fingerprint scanner.
The Meizu smartphone exhibits a metal body and sports a 5.7-inch super AMOLED display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution and a Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by Samsung Exynos 7420 octa-core processor coupled with Mali T760 MP8 GPU with an expandable built in storage via a microSD card.
In terms of its camera specifications, it sports a 21MP rear camera with laser auto focus with enables user to take photograph within 0.7 seconds and includes OmniVision OV5670 5MP front facing snapper for selfie lovers.
The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under Flyme 5 UI and it draws its power from 3,050mAh battery which has a quick charging facility from 0-65 percent within half and hour. It also have a reversible USB Type-C port and supports 4G LTE which offers download speed of 300Mbps.
The company is expected to offer Hi-Fi sound with new ES9018 signal processor and OPA1612 and head phone amplifier.
Meizu Pro 5 comes in Gray, Silver, Silver Black and Golden colors and it is expected to arrive India in October.
