Micromax has added three new affordable smartphones to its Bolt series-Bolt S302, Bolt Q331, and Bolt Q338 priced at Rs. 3,199, Rs. 4,999, and Rs. 6,499, respectively. These devices come with Firstouch, a translator app in addition to translating English language to native language.
The Micromax Bolt S302 features a 4-inch WVGA with 480×800 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a 1GHz single-core Spreadtrum paired with 512MB of RAM with 4GB of internal storage which can be expandable upto 32GB via a microSD card. It is mounted by 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 13MP front facing camera for selfies. Bolt S302 is powered by 1450mAh battery which the company claims it can offer 4 hours of talktime and upto 200 hours of standby time. It has connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, A-GPS, and 3G.
Micromax Bolt Q331 sports a 5-inch IPS display with 480×854 pixels. The device is powered by quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731G) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage which can be further expandable through microSD card. It focuses on 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP for selfies. The device is packed by 2000mAh battery which can offer upto 6 hours of talktime and 200 hours of standby time.
Micromax Bolt Q338 bears a 5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixels. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB of RAM and comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable upto up to 32GB via a microSD card. The handset sports a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing snapper. Its connectivity options include 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB. The device is powered by a 2000mAh battery which is guaranteed to deliver 360 hours of standby time.
The company also offers 200MB of free internet data for WhatsApp or talktime of Rs.40 per month for month from Airtel.
