Indigenous Smartphone Manufacturer Micromax on Thursday ventured into Laptop segment by announcing its first Laptop called Canvas Lapbook. The device will be available for sale from Friday via online retailer Snapdeal at a price of Rs.13,999. The company is hoping to gather 10% market sharing in next 12-18 months.

Moving on to its specifications, Micromax Canvas Laptop sports a 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The device is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom processor clubbed with 2GB RAM. It has got an inbuilt storage of 32GB which can be further expandable via a microSD card.
The power for the device is supplied by 5,000 mAh battery which the company claims it can deliver up to 11 of battery life, seven day on-site service and runs of pretty basic Windows 10 operating systems.It also includes USB 2.0 ports, a HDMI port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
In addition to Lapbook, the company is also working on to rollout another model Canvas Laptab called Laptab LT777
