Micromax Yu has introduced a new smartphone in India termed as Yu Yunique priced at Rs. 4999. Earlier today online retailer Snapdeal mistakenly unveiled ahead of the official announcement.
This 4G enabled HD smartphone packs a 1.2GHz 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 1GB DDR3 RAM coupled with 1GB RAM, the device would include a 8GB onboard storage which can be extendable upto 32GB via micro SD card. The entire device is powered by 2000mAh non-removable battery and runs on Android 5.1 with CyanogenMod 12.1 on top.
Coming to its camera front, it is equipped with 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 1080p recording, and a 2MP selfie camera.
This Dual SIM smartphone includes connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio and Micro-USB v2.0.
“India is at the tipping point of digital revolution and we expect 4G technology to push Internet usage to an unprecedented level. And what will play an important role there is the availability of the right devices at the right price,” Yu Televentures founder Rahul Sharma said.
Apart from sales, the company also provides customer support for the Yu Smartphones through 825 authorized service centres across 600 cities.
Registrations for the mobile initiates from today at 6Pm and the device will be available every Tuesday starting from September 15 solely on snapdeal.
