Yu Televentures has been talking about the release of new powerful smartphone for a while. The company co-founder Rahul Sharma has released a new teaser for the same and this reveals that the smartphone ‘Yutopia’ will feature a metal body, possible with polished chrome edges.
In the teaser, the company briefs “RIP Plastic and Sandstone, True power lies in metal.”
Besides the quality of the build, the company has not revealed anything about the phone, but it is speculated that the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and it comes with internal storage of 32GB. It is expected that it may sport a 5.2-inch display and 21-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera is mounted on the handset. It may come with connectivity options 4G LTE support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS. On its software front, it will run on CyanogenMod 12 OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and the leaks also suggests that it is a dual-SIM smartphone.
The phone is expected to be launched in India but the date is not revealed by the company and it is going to be released by Diwali time. The listing also priced the phone at Rs.Rs 10,000 and it is going to be the first smartphone which will not be available through flash sale.
