Microsoft has unveiled its long rumored smartphones Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL on Tuesday along side launching Surface Pro 4, Surface Book, and Microsoft Band 2 devices. Both the smartphones runs on the company’s latest Operating System Windows 10. Let us have a glance at the specifications of the devices.
Microsoft Lumia 950 bears a 5.2-inch QHD display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and have a pixel density of 564ppi which exhibits clear images. The device is powered by a 1.8 GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Soc coupled with 3 GB of RAM. It has 32 GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 200 GB via a micro SD card.
Coming to specifications of Microsoft Lumia 950 XL, it sports a 5.7-inch AMOLED QHD display with 2,560 x 1,440 screen resolution and a pixel density of 518 ppi. The device is packed with 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 paired with 3 GB of RAM. It also have the same storage options of 32 GB which can be extendable up to 200 GB via a micro SD card.
Both the devices have the same camera options 20MP rear shooter with 4K video recording, OIS, and an f/1.9 aperture alongside 5-megapixel front facing snapper for selfies with an f/2.4 aperture and full-HD video recording.Both the devices comes with liquid cooling system.
The company has fulfilled the hopes of the customer in terms of its connectivity which includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, NFC, USB Type-C, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS.
Both the smartphones Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL receives power from the 3000mAh and 3,340mAh batteries respectively.
The cost of Lumia 950 is $549 and Lumia 950 XL comes at $649. The mobiles will reach the markets in November. However there is no information on availability in India.
