Motorola on Thursday has officially launched a new smartphone ‘Moto X Style’ in India which will be available exclusively on largest online retailer Flipkart.
The device will come in two variants. The 16GB variant is priced at Rs.29,999 and the cost of 32GB variant is 31,999.
Motorola Moto X Style sports a bigger 5.7-inch WQHD LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3-protected, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 3GB RAM. The device has a storage capacity which can be expandable upto 128GB via a microSD card.
It houses a 21 megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5MP front shooter with built in Flash and has a secured DxOMark score of 83.
It comes with a Turbo Charging Facility with 3,000 mAh battery which the company claims that it can offer a 30 hours on a single charge and 8 hours of charge can be achieved within 15 minutes.
The new handset runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) but it will be upgraded with Android Marshmallow later.
The phone is water resistant and includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi as connectivity options. The phones has a front facing stereo speakers with smart boosts in addition to Moto Assist, Moto Display, Moto Actions and Moto Voice.
“Over a period of time, we kept thinking about how we could improve the Moto X range. This phone is built on the concept of ‘Beautility’ where the product looks good without any compromise on the performance,” said Amit Boni, General Manager, Motorola India.
Motorola X Style will be available from October 14 in black and white variants.
