Motorola is all set to launch flagship smartphone Moto X Style in India. The same has been confirmed by the company on Twitter in a reply to the user by saying “It will be releasing soon”. However it has not disclosed any information regarding price and date of launch. The company has earlier promised to launch Style’ edition of the Moto Play in India before the festival season.
Motorola X Style sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with (2560×1440 pixels). The device is powered by 1.8GHz Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. Coming to its storage space it is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB options which can be expanded via microSD card.
The handset is featured with 21-megapixel f/2.0 primary camera with dual-CCT flash and supports 4K video shooting capabilities and a 5MP front facing camera for selfies. The device draws its power from 3000mAh battery with TurboPower feature with which half of the charge can be done within 15 minutes. However the battery is smaller in size when compared to Moto X Play.
Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based mobiles comes with connectivity options includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0. The company is committed to upgrade the software to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It also comes with preloaded apps like Moto Voice, Moto Assist, Moto Display, Moto Actions and so on.
The device was revealed in August in the US for a price of $399 (Approx.26,000) in leather, and natural wood covers. The company is releasing the product contemporary to the launch of new Nexus smartphones by Google in India.
