Motorola is finally set to launch its new smartphone Moto X Play in India today which could be priced around 21,000 or more. The company has recently teased about the release of its new smartphone with hashtag #XOMotoX
The company has sent invitations to the media for the september 14 launch event of the mobile.
Moto X Play specifications are almost the same as Moto Style except its massive 3630 mAh battery which offers “30 hours of backup” and 50% of the charging can be done in 15 minutes. It flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD display running at 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution at 403 ppi with Gorilla Glass 3. The device is powered by Qualcomm 1.7GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor and coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16 or 32GB storage variants which can be expandable via a microSD card.
On its photography front, it is equipped with 21-megapixel primary camera with dual-flash and supports 4K video recording capabilities and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. On its software front, the device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.
It’s connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth 4.0. The device is measured as 5.8 inches and weighs 169 grams.
Earlier original Moto X was launched at a price of Rs.23,999 and the second Moto X -16GB version was launched at Rs 31,999 and later 32GB was launched at Rs 32,999.
Motorola new smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart and comes in Black and White variants.
