OnePlus, Chinese smartphone manufacturer introduces about its latest flagship killer OnePlus 2 in the world’s first reality launch event on July 27. The smartphone had received one million registration to purchase within just 72 hours of launch. At the launch event, interestingly the company said over 1.5 million OnePlus One smartphones sold since its launch in India.
OnePlus 2 will be available available from August 11 on Amazon.in through only registrations process, where 16GB and 64GB available at a price of Rs 22,999 and Rs 24,999 respectively. OnePlus company claims it has likely to enter Indian market along with USA, Canada, Europa Countries.
OnePlus 2 featured 5.5 inch full QHD display (1080p) resolution, and powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Processor clocked at speed 1.8 Ghz Octa-core CPU. While the 16GB variant will have 3GB LPPDR4 RAM and 64GB variant will sport a 4GB RAM. It comes with 13-megapixel rear camera alongside Dual-LED flash as well as 5-megapixel front facing camera.
It runs OxygenOS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop with some significant changes. This smartphone has a 3300mAh battery and sports a fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port.
After the launch of OnePlus 2, the company has reportedly have plans to offer price drop on OnePlus One smartphone. The OnePlus India general manager Vikas Agarwal stated in a meeting that OnePlus-India will not stop any OnePlus One storage variant. However he revealed that the company may offer price drop on OnePlus One in the coming days.
