Bollywood actress Preity Zinta fiercely made her tweets declining media reports that she spoke to BCCI officials about her players of IPL, Kings XI Punjab team related to ‘suspicious activity.’ Preity Zinta owner of Kings XI Punjab was left in shock as soon as she came across media reports. So she took this issue to micro-blogging site twitter to make clear narrating media reports were incorrect and exceedingly unreliable and ill-natured.
According to press reports, 40 year-old Zinta met BCCI officials to have conversation on their players this month and discussed about her conjecture about few KXIP players involvement in tossing matches. Anyhow, Zinta accepted that she met officials of BCCI but stated complete conversation was misrepresented.
In some tweets , Preity Zinta described media reports as ‘inaccurate, extremely irresponsible and malicious’ saying she was ‘shocked.’ She also reacted by saying on micro-blogging site ‘Stop spreading rubbish without verification.’
Other than Preity Zinta, Kings XI Punjab co-owner include industrialist Ness Wadia, her former boyfriend. Once she accused him of attacking her at one of the IPL match at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Zinta was last seen in ‘Ishkq in Paris’ film in 2013. Currently she is busy filming Bhaiyyaji Superhitt starrer ‘Bhaiyyaji Superhitt.’
