Samsung has launched a value edition model smartphone dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE which is listed in the Samsung estore for Rs.8,600.
All the three variants of the smartphone White, Grey and Silver are listed out of stock by the company and the e-store is now offering a Notify Me option to notify to the interested customer when it is in stock.
Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE is much like Samsung Galaxy Core Prime which was introduced last year,in terms of its software front which runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.
In terms of specifications, it sports a 4.5-inch display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution, powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core chipset coupled with 1GB RAM which offers 8GB Internal storage which can be expandable upto 128GB via microSD card.
The handset is equipped with 5MP rear camera along with a 2MP for selfies.It’s connectivity options includes Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-fi Direct, Wi-fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 3G. The device is powered by 2,000mAh battery with Ultra power saving mode and the life of the battery is up to 1.2 days of standby time with 10 percent battery and measures 130.8×67.9×8.8mm.
South Korean giant has also announced new Galaxy J2 earlier this month,which is most affordable smartphone in India earlier with a price tag of Rs.8,490. Touted to be the successor Galaxy J1 will be available for purchase from Monday.
