Swipe Launches New Smartphone Elite For Rs 5,999

Indigenous mobile manufacturer, Swipe has launched its new smartphone Swipe Elite in India for Rs.5999/- .  This device will run on Swipe’s own modified OS known Freedom OS based on Android Lollipop 5.0.

Moving on to the features of the device, ELITE sports 5-inch HD display, powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB RAM. Elite comes with an in-built storage of 16GB which is expandable upto 32GB via MicroSD card. It has a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front snapper and the device is powered by 2,500 mAh battery. The weight of the phone is measure as 131.3 grams with a size of  142×70.8×8.05 mm.

Additionally, the Freedom Operating Systems integrated with customizable home screen gestures, localized search engine option where the user can search for files, folders, swipe box which offers 100GB of storage space. Assist X features helps the user to call directly, chat or locate a service center if there is any problem.

Swipe CEO Shripal Gandhi said

“It’s only because of the online model that we can keep the price of the smartphone low. Given the specs and the UI features offered with the ELITE this will be a disruptive budget smartphone in India’s mobile space.”

This dual SIM smartphone  connectivity options include 3G, OTG support, FM radio, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS, proximity.

The Swipe Elite will be available solely on online store Flipkart from August 19.
