UAE And Pakistan Censor Board Officials Banned ‘Bangistan’

Bollywood upcoming film ‘Bangistan’ starring ‘Riteish Deshmukh’ has been refused its entry in United Arab Emirates (UAE), so the film producer ‘Ritesh Sidhwani’ expressed his disappointment over the dissension. This film was directed by ‘Karan Anshuman’ and along with Riteish, film also features Pulkit Samrat and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Bangistan banned in UAE

The censor Board of UAE banned the film as it found hostile content and a powerful rejection has been raised against the movie. Film maker made his response to UAE Censor Board officials stating that, its is very depressing that it finds offensive content as the movie do not contain any such kind of attribute. Sidhwani also said he would send to re-examine the film to the committee again.

Film is all about two suicide bombers Hafeez Bin Ali Ishwarchand Sharma (Riteish) and Allah Rakha Khan Praveen Chaturvedi (Pulkit) who will be influenced to utter an explosive operation but later they realize that death desire is a worthless exertion. Film mostly had its shoot in Ladakh and Poland. It is slated to release on this Friday ie., on 7th August 2015.

Film producer Ritesh Sidhwani took this to Twitter making statements,

“#Bangistan banned in #pakistan #UAE I’m now told may be #Singapore as well. Can the censor boards in these countries give us a written 1/2”

“Explanation clearly specifying what did they find offensive in our film..I’m Shocked as to how they have missed the message in #Bangistan”.
