Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University had established on 2nd October 1972. It is the top technological university in the country. It has been providing high-level quality education from past 44years. According to Government Ordinance No.13, it is divided into four universities for engineering students. These Universities are located in Hyderabad, Kondagattu, Manthani, and Sultanpur. JNTU-H offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and Ph.D. etc. It is combined with national and international organizations. It has more than 3.50 lakh students in each university. Now the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University had introduced MOOC’S ( Massive Open Online Courses ) for the first time. This is done as per the guidelines of UGC, AICTE and HRD Ministry.
JNTU Introduces Online Courses
From this academic year, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University is introducing massive open courses. Generally, Indian Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Management and other centrally funded institutions professors offer this online courses for students, under the programme of Union Ministry of Human Resource Development.
According to the Board of the university, the R16 batch student’s that is third-year students has an option of selecting one open professional and one open elective subject from the list of courses. But after the meeting with Board of the university, they had introduced the online open professional and open elective courses in different streams of engineering.
