Log Horizon a popular isekai anime based on the light novel that goes by the same name written by Mamare Touno, which illustrated by Kazuhiro Hara. The anime first aired in 2013 with its Season 1, the Season 2 ran between 2014 and 2015. Then, the anime took a bit of a hiatus, after which Season 3 released in 2024.

Log Horizon Plot
The anime revolves around the characters that are trapped inside an online multiplayer fantasy game named “Elder Tale”. The sharp-minded protagonist named Shiroe who was a regular engineering graduate in real life forms an alliance with his former friend Naotsugu and an assassin called Akatsuki for survival in this new world.
As the story moves forward, they form alliances with different guilds and take off for dangerous quests. They also form relationships with non-player characters who are the characters not controlled by any real-life player.

The third season of the anime aired from January to March 2024 consisting of 12 episodes in total. The fans are waiting for a new season since the release of the third season. At the end of Season 3, the members of the Log Horizon come together to celebrate their freedom after the Akiba Guild Raid defeats the genie Ereinus. The Mover Sisters become the members of Log Horizon and take Tetora to the Ladder Gathering. However, after the credits, we find out that Shiroe concedes to Minami, along with Regan who shows her longing to join him.
In Season 4, we might see Reyneshia’s quest to bring back Krusty, Kanami, and others from the Chinese server. A civil war expected to break out amongst Nureha and Intics. Shiroe and Regan might voyage towards Minami and Shiroe may finally start dating Akatsuki.
