Chowmahalla Palace Hyderabad
The Chowmahalla Palace built in the 17th century, almost 400 years ago. The palace is one of the famous and sightseeing places for visitors. The meaning of “Chow” in Urdu is Four, and “Mahal” means Places so, the name of the palace is Chowmahalla Palace. Also, the palace is known as Shah palace of Tehran In Iran. History of Chowmahalla Palace
The Chowmahalla Palace construction started in 1790 by Nizam Salabat Jung and completed during the reign of 5th Nizam, Afzar-ud-Daulah, Asaf Jav V in 1869. It believed that the Palace is the replica of Shah of Iran’s palace. Recently the palace was renovated by the Government and was opened for the public in 2005. The palaces covered 45 acres in the past, but now the total remained area of the palace is 12 acres.

Bara Imam:
Bara Imam is the place inside the Chowmahalla Palace. Here several rooms, lining a ling corridor, which faces towards the pool and the eastern side of the bara imam the central fountain is there. This part of the palace is known as the administrative wings of the palaces. These rooms used as a guest room for special guests.
Khilwat Mubarak:
The right of the Chowmahalla Palace is known as Khilwat Mubarak, which is the seat of Asaf Jahi dynasty. The khiwat Mubarak has a huge durbar hall, which has a marble platform and with impressive pillars. In this part of the Palace, the royal seat placed. Nizam has used this hall to organize their court and other important ceremonies. Recently 19 stunning chandeliers of Belgian crystal are added in this hall.
Clock Tower:
