The Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship Minorities is present under the West Bengal Scholarship. The Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship Minorities offers monthly Rs. 8000/- to the selected scholarship candidates. The Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship has provided by the Government of West Bengal. The candidate has to apply for this scholarship in between July to September 2019.

Eligibility Conditions:

1. The candidate must be a resident of West Bengal.
2. An applicant must have scored a minimum of 75% marks in class 10^th.
3. The candidate should have scored a minimum of 75% marks in 12^th
4. If the candidate is in PG level, then he/she must have to score minimum 53% marks in their graduation or 55% marks in their Engineering.
5. The annual income of the family should not exceed Rs. 2.5 Lacs.

Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship

The Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship has offered by the Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS), Kolkata. The students can apply for this scholarship from May to July every year. The Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship is only for the girls’ students. After completing 12^th class and currently pursuing an under-graduation in Basic Science/ Medicine/Engineering at any institute in West Bengal can apply for this scholarship. The scholarship aims to promote girl’s higher education and conserve their scientific talent. The selected candidates will get a monthly Rs. 3000/- scholarship amounts.

Eligibility Conditions:

1. The Girl candidate must have the resident proof of the West Bengal.
2. The candidate should have passed 12^th from any board of West Bengal.
3. The applicant must be studying Basic Science, Medicine or Engineering from a reputed institution in West Bengal.

West Bengal Post-Matric Scholarship SC/ST/OBC

The interested candidates can apply for the West Bengal Post-Matric Scholarship in September to November 2019. The scholarship is providing by the Backward Classes Welfare Department, West Bengal. This scholarship is only for the SC/ST/OBC candidate, who have completed their matriculation or post-secondary level. The students from class 12^th, graduation and post-graduation are eligible for the West Bengal Post-Matric Scholarship. The selected candidates will receive monthly Rs.160/- to Rs. 1200/- as scholarship amount.

Eligibility Conditions:

1. The candidate must be the domicile of West Bengal, who are belonging from SC/ST/OBC category.
2. An applicant must be studying in 11^th, 12^th, Graduation, or Post-Graduation level.
3. The family’s annual income of the SC/ST candidates should be in between Rs. 2 Lacs to Rs. 2.5Lacs.
4. The annual income of the OBC candidate’s family should not exceed Rs. 1 Lacs.

West Bengal Pre-Matric Scholarship SC/ST Students

An applicant can apply for the West Bengal Pre-Matric Scholarship in September to November through the Backward Classes Welfare Department, West Bengal. The scholarship scheme is only for the SC and ST candidates who are in class 9^th and 10^th. The selected scholars will receive monthly Rs. 150/- to Rs. 750/- and also will get an additional Adhoc grant of up to Rs. 1000/- per annum.

Eligibility Conditions:

1. The student must have been the Domicile of West Bengal, who are belonging to SC/ST category.
2. The candidate must be currently studying in 9^th or 10^th
3. The family’s annual income should not more than Rs. 2 Lacs.

Hindi Scholarship Scheme, West Bengal

In October to December, the candidates can apply for the Hindi Scholarship Scheme, West Bengal. The scholarship is conducting by the Department of Higher Education, Science and Technology and Biotechnology. It is one of the West Bengal Scholarship, which can apply through offline. The scholarship aims to promote and encourage the Hindi language in Non-Hindi speaking state like West Bengal.

The Hindi Scholarship Scheme offers financial assistance to the students for their higher secondary, graduation, post-graduation, and Research level course. The candidate, who has completed their matriculation, higher secondary, graduation and post-graduation degree, can apply for the Hindi Scholarship Scheme, West Bengal. The selected candidate will receive the scholarship amount monthly Rs. 3000/- to Rs. 10,000/-.

1. The candidate should belong to a Non-Hindi speaking state.
2. The applicant must be a resident of West Bengal.
3. An applicant must have completed their matriculation, higher secondary, graduation, and post-graduation degree or any equivalent degree course.
4. The candidate must have scored at least 60% marks in their previous qualifying course with Hindi as one of the subjects.
