How to register GeM portal?

You have two options for the registration to the GeM portal and they are either you can register as buyer or a seller. Follow the given steps to know more about the registration process;

GeM Buyer Registration

If you are registering as a buyer, follow the given steps;

  • Go to the official website of Government e Marketplace (GeM)
  • Click on the Signup option
  • Now they give you two options to choose from – Buyer or Seller
  • Choose the option Buyer
  • Go through the terms and conditions provided carefully. Now you have to verify and accept their terms and conditions.
  • You now required to enter either your Aadhaar number or UID
  • Now you enter your mobile number which registered with your Aadhaaar card
  • You now receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP received
  • Next, you required to fill a form with the required details
  • Upload the necessary documents

GeM Seller Registration

If you are registering as a seller, follow the given steps;

  • Go to the official website of Government e-Marketplace (GeM)
  • Click on the Sign-up option
  • Now they will give you two options to choose from; Buyer or Seller
  • Choose the option seller
  • Go through the terms and conditions provided carefully. Now you have to verify and accept their terms and conditions.
  • Next, you should provide information about which type of business and the name of your organization
  • For personal verification, you are now required to enter either your Aadhaar number or PAN
  • Now you can enter your mobile number which is registered with your Aadhaar card
  • Now you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP received
  • Next, you are required to fill a form with the required details
  • Upload the necessary documents

How to login GeM portal Online

If you have successfully registered to the GeM portal either as a buyer or seller, you can now get logged in to the portal. Follow the given steps to login;

  • Go to the official website of the GeM portal
  • Click on the GeM login option
  • Enter your User ID and do captcha verification
  • Now click on the submit option
  • You will next be redirected to another page, where you have to enter your password
  • Now, click on the login option
