- Follows C & AG
PRIASOFT follows the four-tier accounting classification system and reports are presented in the format directed by C&AG. The schemes of the Central and State Government are charted at the sub-head level for the accounting to run smoothly under each scheme.
- Opening Balance
PRIASOFT facilitates all the Panchayati Raj Institutions to indicate the opening balance of each scheme individually under the Bank/ Treasury/ Post Office Accounts with a one-time entry, and it will be automatically generated for further entries.
- Double Entry System of Book-keeping
PRIASOFT follows the double-entry system of book-keeping which means recording both, the debit and the credit side of a transaction. However, it is relatively simpler because it follows the Cash basis of accounting i.e. only cash transactions are recorded, no receivable or payable transactions are entered into the accounts.
