In current times, bank accounts are becoming more vulnerable, and the responsibility lies upon the bank to take care of their customer’s bank accounts.
SBI is one of the biggest banks in India which holds the account for about 420 million customers so they have to be especially careful because of their size. It has launched its customer care portal so that customers can register their complaints easily.
The complaints filed both online and offline, whichever the customers prefer. A customer files various categories of complaint which might be:-
- ATM card related
The customer might have complaints regarding their debit or credit card not working, or stuck in the ATM machine, or any other ATM-related issue.
- UPI related issue
The customer might face the issue of a failed UPI transaction or a transaction in which the account of the customer is debited, but the recipient had not yet received the amount. In such cases, the customers can file a complaint to credit their money back.
- Loans and Advances
Sometimes, the customers face the issue of Interest on a loan being charged twice or incorrectly charged, the customer can file a complaint against that.
- Unauthorized transaction
A customer might file a complaint against an unauthorized transaction that takes place from their bank account, which they are not responsible for and they can get a refund in case they have lost any money without any valid reason.
At certain times, the customer may deposit money in the bank, but the money does not reflect in the bank account. The customer can lodge a complaint to add the money in the bank account so they can proceed with their banking activities.
