The Prime Minister of India Mr Narendra Modi has announced a new scheme for farmers development known as Kusum Yojana. The priority of this scheme is to introduce solar power among farmers. This scheme introduced in July 2019. The Government of India has spent Rs. 1.4 crore to launch this scheme. In the second week of July 2019, cabinet approved this Kusum Yojana plan.
